When my Sr Accountant adds new assets to the F/A module, I then have to go into Transactions, F/A, Select Assets and add these assets into their respective asset groups. It seems that i am the only user who has ability to do this, others do not have this selection available on their menus. Can more than one user have this ability, how can I give other users this ability, and if only one user can have this ability, how can i switch it from myself to another user? A few years ago we called support on this and they said that only one user could have this ability but that hardly seems efficient and so i hope that was incorrect. Thanks
Asset Groups are saved by each user individually, also Asset Groups are not updated when additional assets are added. Asset groups are built based on the assets on file at the time the group is created.

The way our F/A is set up, whenever we add an asset, say a piece of furniture, it must be added to the asset group "Furniture" , or else it will not be picked up and depreciated. This may be an extra step, which is fine, but when my Sr Accountant goes to Transactions/Fixed Assets/Select Assets, no groups are listed and in essence there is nothing on this screen that allows her to see or choose assets. When i follow the same path, i see all of the groups and the assets. So perhaps the issue is that she can't see the info needed to be able to assign the group in the first place.
