GP 2010 and office 2010 in the cloud

This question is answered

importing and exporting to excel does not work anymore since updtaing to gp 2010

is it compatible?

is there a reason that it stopped working ?

id something required to let GP export to excel and import back... budgets etc.

no messages.

    You need to have Excel installed locally for this functionality to work.

    Can you provide more information?  What version of Excel?  64 bit or 32 bit Excel?  What OS are you using?

    I have had no problems importing to and from Excel with GP 2010. What are you using to perform the import/export?

    they are using both version 7 of windows and XP sp'd up

    they have 2010 office in the cloud

    and citrix v12

     

    When using excel and a normal spreadsheet they have no problem

    only when they are trying to import export from GP

    before they had MS office loaded locally on that machine

    then IT came and deployed it through the cloud.
