HOw do we hide departments under the Department section in Nav 2009 rtc. SUch as we do not use Donorvision, awardvision, etc and do not want it showing on the list. In Nav 5.0 classic client you were able to hide what you did not want to see. How do you hide it in Nav 2009 RTC

In the RTC, right-click on "Departments"-> "Customize Navision Pane".
Here, choose "Departments" on the left and you are able to remove elements by choosing a department under "Lists:" and using the "Remove" button on the right.
Each user can customize the menu on his own or you can configure this per profile, using the configuration mode and repeating the steps per profile.
All the buttons on the right side where the remove button is are grayed out and not useable. Why would that be?
Make sure you are logged in as an administrator & have administrative rights. If the remove button is still greyed out it would mean that the Modules such as Donorvision are configured in a way such that they must be manually removed from the Menus (from the Object Designer). You may need to contact your Microsoft Partner to help you with this, or you can modify the Menu object if you feel confident.
