Our small customer has NAV 2013 (two tiers) with server WIN2012 and two clients W7 (all of three in a local LAN environment).
Every report he launches (from the W7 client) to a lan printer , the report goes out with a strange font that makes the report un - readable.
I've tried to change the font in a test report (through rdlc/ssrs) but in the output print there was always the un-readable font (in Preview and also in the final format)
I have only found the information in http://community.dynamics.com/nav/b/dmsblog/archive/2012/10/02/nav-2013-report-issues.aspx
THe article tells about a terminal server issue and our customer has no terminal server, but I've tried the same to change the display resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x1024 and all the reports go out well.
But the customer likes to have his 1920x1080 display resolution and now every time he has to print , he changes before the display resolution and then he prints!
Is there anyone knowing a different workaround for the issue or if thre is a microsoft fix?
Thank you in advance.
Try with support.microsoft.com/.../2768741. It should address the issue.
I've tried , but it doesn't work.
Again , to correctly print from NAV 2013 in W7 client, our customer needs to change display resolution.
I can connect from my remote site to the W2012 server and all reports go out well to the same printer.
The problem is only with the W7 clients.
In my site we haven't PC supporting that 1920x1080 display resolution.
Is there anyone having the same problem ? Is there any other possible solution?
Thank you in advance
For anyone else having the same problem: we have solved changing the driver of the graphic card (from W7 driver to Intel specific driver).
And now the client can use his disply resolution 1920x1080 and the reports go out well.
Thanks for coming back with the solution
