I was trying to sync. Outlook with NAV 2013 and I came across this error .
" The connection to "" Microsoft Dynamics NAV database failed. The program returned the following error
GetCompaniesList error: Unable to connect to the remote server
Please verify your synchronization settings. If the problem persists contact your system administrator "
I went through many links which shows as how to sync. outlook but didnt found anything which I missed but still facing this issue.

Thanks for your reply, I went through all the above link and found that in outlook the port was mentioned wrong...since we have multiple services running for different database...it got resolved now
