Hi expert, I tried to modify the sales order report. I added some fields to the header of the report, but when I ran the report and previewed it, it had two pages instead of one. All of the contents on the report header showed again on the second page and nothing else. How to fix it? Thank you!
Did you new fileds in body section? in lines? which extends the reports width?
Here are some suggestions.
1. The textbox in header that you added should be set to CanGrow as False.
2. Check the width -
a) click on any blank area and go to report properties.
b) You will see page width and Left and Right Margins there.
c) so the body width should be < (Page width - Left margin - Right Margin).
d) so if your page width is say 21 cm with 1 cm margin on both side then body width should be < 19 cm.

Another question regarding the sales line. I can add the border to the table of the sales line and rows, but how to add the border to the total and tax portions and connect all of them together with the table? Thank you
If I am correct you want the border in table body part.
If that is the case you can use any of below listed option -
a) select the Report Body and set border to it.
b) Select the List (Whole body resides inside a list) and apply border to list.
