I am converting a client from Navision 4.0 to GP2010. I need to get the Chart of Accounts from Navision for Migration. My client does not know how to get the list of accounts and neither do I.

Hi,

the simplest way is to open the chart of accounts in Dynamics NAV, press CTRL-A to mark all and simply copy and paste it to Excel. I do not know which kind of fields GP needs for an account but usually you need at least number and name and type of account (balance / expenses) - this information is all shown in the chart of accounts window in NAV.

Best regards
