Store Operations refresh items list is slow.

This question is not answered

Is anyone else having problems with the items list refreshing slowly after editing an item? We have a somewhat large database and I think maybe that is to blame but it seems like after the update to service pack 4 and feature pack 2 that we started to notice the issue. I was wondering if there may be a way to stop the refresh of the whole item list and just refresh the item being edited. Is there a way to change setting regarding this refresh function?

  • Open the Windows registry

    Locate hkey_local_machine | software | microsoft | retail management system | store operations | manager | options

then change the value of ListRefreshRate to 3600 for example

  • It takes far too long to save an Item and a PO after FP2 installation, new or exisiting. Not sure if the list refresh rate is to blame or not, but its painfull.

  • Has there been any resolution on this?  I am experiencing this as well.  When saving an item's changes within Store Operations Manager, "Refreshing Lists" appears in the bottom left corner of the status bar and the application halts for about 5-20 seconds before returning to the item listview.

  • I have the same problem and therefore will be holding off upgrading any one else to fp2 Microsoft need to fix this fast as it slowing down production!!

  • I am having this problem as well and I tried the suggested answer posted by A Hassan, and that did not work.  Well actually what it did do was to stop the frequent automatic list refresh, however when editing items that refresh message still pops up on the bottom and it still is painfully slow.
