One of my users got the following while trying to release AP batch: System Message 10247 The SQLNoWait can only be called after a Status call with StartProcess as the 1st parameter.

    Did you ever find an answer?  I have a client receiving the same 10247 error.  Thanks in advance.

    Yes.  We waited about an hour, logged out and back in and the batch still will not release.

    I was just able to release the batch on the terminal server.  Weird.

    All,

    We've seen this issue in support cases as well and a reboot of the machine usually resolves the issue.  We don't know what causes it.

    Thanks a lot.  I have found it goes away after a log out and log in as well.
