Resource Assignment from MSP not Visible in SL

This question is not answered

Interface MS Projects 2007 and SL 7 FP1

Scenario.

One of the integrated projects, that used to work 100% , has not been receiving  information (e.g. resource assignments)  from MS Projects since15 Feb. Employees assigned to tasks in MS Projects prior to that date can select tasks onto timecards. Employees assigned to tasks in MSP after that date can select project on timesheets but the task is not available to select.
One can create a new task and new resource in SL and it is immediately available in MSP.

Other integrated projects are working fine.

I reviewed tables in SL and Projects_Published.

pjpentem and Pjpentemxrefmsp table does not contain tasks and resources after 15 Feb.

pjqueuemsp message contains PAEMP and PAPEM activities with status “P”, also after 15 Feb when resource was reintegrated to try and resolve the problem.

In the Project Server_Published DB the  msp_tasks and MSP_ASSIGNMENTS contain records indicating that the resource assigment updated project server

I also noticed that the active directory name for the resources are not visible in the PWA Resource Center

What I tried to resolve the issue

·         Reintegrated the resource

·         Stopped and restarted the Project Server Queueing and Integration services

·         Stopped and restarted the connector in Project Setup

·         Unassigned the resource in MSP and had two different planners reasign the resource in MSP (in two different sessions)

·         Googled and searched Partnersource extensively

Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

  • Coen,

I understand you have a case open with Mark for this issue. When that case is resolved please feel free to post any resolutions from it.

  • Hi Blaine, will do so

  • Hi, should have given feedback. The issue was that the planner duplicated SL Task ID's in MSP. He created new tasks in MSP and linked them to SL Task ID's that already existed in MSP. The Addin was not installed on his machine.

Mark assisted - meaning he did all the work! - to clean up the database.
