SL2011 FP1 install on Windows 7 pro

I am trying to setup SL2011FP1 on my laptop to start the upgrade testing from SL7SP3

I uninstalled everything Solomon.  Installed SL2001FP1 to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\

Server install seems to run fine.  Client install tells me "Unable to locate the installation of the Microsoft Dynamics SA 2011 Applications."

The server install did not create any in the Registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.  On my production server running SL7 I see a key in there like Microsoft Dynmaics SL 7 Feature Pack 1 with a parent directory value.

If this problem is new to everyone, can someone with SL2011 Fp1 installed check their registry and let me know what entry you may have?
