Dynamics SL 7.0 FP1
I have a default format of the Quote that prints when the user prints from the Print button in the SO screen. That works fine. I have a alternate format of the Quote that I want to print for certain sites. This report exists in the ROI as "Store". I added the 3 sites to the output selection of the print step in Order Type, but it did not make any difference. The default quote printed anyway. My users need to be able to print from the Sales Order screen, but the format needs to be different based on the site. Can this be done?
Hi Ruby,
When setting up the Output Selection, you specified the Site ID and then under Report Name - did you choose Store (the format of the Quote that you wish to use)?

I tried this process in my demo database on SL 2011 SP1 and it isn't using the customized report either. I'll need to do some research.
I did some more testing. I found that I had the wrong site specified in the Output Selection. I created another output selection criteria for the other site and this time my custom report printed.
I did use the output selection tab, entered the correct siteid and report name (store) and printer as default. from the sales order screen print button, I am still getting the default format of the report. Where does the report look for the siteid? Perhaps I am doing something wrong in that area.
Check Customer Maintenance for the customer on that sales order to see what the default site id is for that customer. I ran a trace on my sales order and the site id seemed to be coming from the customer defaults. See if you change the Output Selection to the site id used by the customer if the quote prints correctly.
