    I have personally performed two database merges like you're describing before. Both involved SOP, RM, and GL. One also included PM and POP. The difficult thing about this is that there is no real "tool" available to do this. This I think is primarily because there can be so many inconsistencies...

    Has anyone ever seen/used a tool that ties into RM/PM and allows you to do factoring in Receivables in Dynamics GP. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Just a shot in the dark: Are you using GP Project Accounting and running version 9.0 SP1? There was a bug with Project accounting where GP was taking a VERY long time to close prior to SP2. (or maybe it was SP3?) In any event, it was made much better with a later service pack. I'm my guess is wrong...
