I'm trying to setup a trial of Customer Insights and want to link it to an existing ADLS Gen2 storage. But in the screen to create the environment the 'Save all data to' dropdown in the 'advanced settings' is always grayed out and is set to the default 'Customer Insights storage'
This is especially important for us as we want to not only test Customer Insights but also the integration with a Azure Synapse Workspace. Any idea what might be wrong. At first I tough the Gen2 storage account was created in the wrong geo so I actually created a couple of them in different geo's(north europe and west europe) and still no luck.
Based on my experience and understanding, we cannot link a Customer Insights trial environment to our own ADLS account. We can link our own ADLS Gen2 account to sandbox and production environments only.

ADLS Gen2 storage is not supported as a storage account in Customer Insights trial environments.
Can you please send your scenarios on consuming output from your own lake, to CIHelp@microsoft.com so we can further evaluate and provide an update?

I am researching into Dynamics 365 crm related AI services such as SALES INSIGHTS, CUSTOMER INSIGHTS, CUSTOMER SERVICE INSIGHTS AND VIRTUAL AGENT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
So far I have not been able to find any training and certification materials on these topics. If you have any info related to this, it would be appreciated myaarpmedicare
For whatever reason it is not supported what with a trail version you bring in your own data lake. So if you want to build some customer facing demo's with this features you can just forget it and move on...
