I was planning on Deploying MSE to my end users and realized that it's being discontinued in January 2020.
I understand that Market Insights has more features and it is still in Public Preview.
I have a below questions.
Is it safe/okay to introduce or deploy Market Insights to my end users while it is in Public Preview? - I'm open to hear any approach.
Is there an end date for the public preview?
Should I start with MSE now since I already have the licenses then move to Market Insights in 2020 as an upgrade?
Is there a cost for Market Insights or will be incorporated with some licenses.
Thanks for your questions.
Still, anyone can sign-up for and use Public Preview now, even in countries outside the ones listed in the Availability Deck (Pg 12). In this case, the customer will get access to an app, which has Microsoft Social Engagement features only, but will be branded as Market Insights Preview. When Public Preview officially is getting rolled out to the country the O365 tenant is located in, the new Market Insights features will show up.
For further questions, feel free to reach out to alias MSEEOL@microsoft.com.
Thank you, Raphael
Raphael, thanks for this information. Do you know if Market Insights will remain a separate application to be connected with D365 (like it is now in the preview) or will it be integrated as a part of D365 (possibly as a separately sold component)?
As Market Insights is in Public Preview, there are a lot of moving parts and features and functionality are subject to change. Please stay tuned.
