We are aware and have been working on known issue that affected syndicated blogs in the community, resulting in duplicate blog posts being published, and numerous notifications being sent to blog subscribers. As we work to resolve the issue, we have temporarily turned off syndication, and are actively removing duplicate blogs that we’re aware of.

User points and leaderboards were affected by the duplicate content being posted, adding points erroneously to some users. As we remove duplicate blogs, you may see points affected as they are adjusted to accurate levels. As such, badges and community stars awards will be slightly delayed for February to ensure accuracy.

If you have an affected blog, and would like to remove duplicates manually, as blog owner you should see the option by following these steps:

Visit your blog home page and look for “My Blog Dashboard” (Fig. 1). After clicking on that, you will see (Fig. 2) your posts listed with a simple delete option to the right of each post title:
