1- Integrate Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Here are two great articles on how to integrate Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365.  In the first one, Zohaib Uddin Khan of SMS Management and Technology begins by going through some of the basics of Power BI and how to set it up. He then tells how to Incorporate Power BI into Dynamics 365 Online. This is a great basic article.

In the second article, Microsoft Technet gives us a little more information about getting started with using Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365.  They tell us about the different content packs available for download. They discuss things such as embedding Power BI visualizations on personal dashboards, as well as using Power BI Desktop to connect directly to your Microsoft Dynamics 365.  This article builds upon the facts of the first article.

2- The right cloud option for your business

Sri Srinivasan, General Manager for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations in the Cloud and Enterprise Group, discusses the unprecedented global adoption of cloud business applications by mid-sized and large organizations. He states that the new enterprise customers are increasingly choosing our cloud solutions, with four out of five selecting Dynamics 365. Microsoft sees the importance of a cloud-first approach in business applications. Srinivasan stresses the importance of choosing the right deployment option and offers some great guidance on the topic.

3- Project Online included in new Microsoft Dynamics 365 licenses

On November 1, 2016, Microsoft Dynamics 365 launched new Enterprise Plans. As a part of these, Dynamics has bundled in multiple Microsoft services, including Microsoft Project Online. Allan Rocha, of PPM4ALL, tells us of the different ways Project Online will be offered.  Rocha also provides us with some important Microsoft links, regarding Dynamics 365.
