I finally managed to hide the two options 'Write-in Products' and 'Get Products' that reside on the Flymenu when clicked on the subgrid + button ... thanks to Ribbon Workbench :D
This is how i did it:
Open your solution in Ribbon Workbench, note that you have 'salesorderdetail' entity added in your solution.
Select 'salesorderdetail' entity and create a new Enable Rule by navigating to 'Enable Rules' plus button and then click on 'Add Step'. Give a suitable name to your Enable Rule.
Make sure you are standing on 'SubGrid' part, and select 'PRODUCTS' from there and click on the small arrow to open the options of Products Flymenu. Right Click on 'Get Products' and then click on 'Customize Command'.
As soon as you click on 'Customise Command', the command will be shown in the 'COMMANDS' area. Click on your command, and on the right side expand 'Enable Rules' and select your rule.
Finally, click on the 'Publish' button and check your changes on the Salesorder entity once it has been published successfully.
However i'm still looking for a way to decrease the height of this flymenu. If you have any ideas please share in the comments section.
Finally. Something that works!
@Dan ... i would be glad if you post it!
Thanks for this post.
Thanks for the detailed post! We did hide the options in an activity grid once and managed to also collapse the empty white space. But I can’t quite recall the method. Will have to see if I can find the code in our repository. Will post back if I can find it. Dan
