I am a Microsoft MVP for Business Applications, a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), MCSA, MCAD, MCTS on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, MCTS on Sharepoint, MCTS on SQL Server, and a long-time expert on other Microsoft-related technologies.
I have a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico of Turin and I work as a Senior Project Manager and Solution Developer for EID (http://www.eid.it), a company that is part of the Navlab group (http://www.navlab.it), one of the biggest Microsoft Dynamics groups in Italy (where I’m also the Chief Technical Officer).
I have a lot of experience with the Microsoft Dynamics platform (I work in the ERP field starting from the Navision 2.60 release) and actually my main activity is architecting and developing enterprise solutions based on the entire stack of Microsoft technologies (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central, Azure, Cloud apps and .NET applications in general, OLAP and BI solutions for data analysis, Microsoft Sharepoint, distributed service-based applications).
I’m the author of various Microsoft Certified NAV add-ons (for example, the first Cost Accounting NAV add-on), I often write many articles and blogs on various Microsoft-related topics on my personal website (http://www.demiliani.com) and as a guest on other IT sites and I’m frequently involved in consulting, teaching and public speaking. I’m the author of different books related to Microsoft technologies and my last works on this fields are the following books:
I live in Borgomanero, a wonderful city between the Orta and Maggiore lake in the north of Italy (quite near the big town of Milan), with my wife and my little daughter Sara. In the free time I’m a runner with a quite a good past (1h09’ in half marathon and 2h38’ in marathon few years ago) that in the last year has also discovered the love for the road bike (I like climbing at full speed too much!).
I think that the Microsoft Dynamics Community is an invaluable source of informations and knowledge. As I said always on my trainings, the ERP world is not so easy and taking the right decision when developing a solution is extremely important. The Dynamics Community is the right place for this: go here and ask questions (no matter if complex or simple). When someone asks, everyone will learn something.
