We am trying to activate Dynamics Retail cloud POS but getting stuck in the step 5 and getting the below error:
but we have added the external identity (Alias, UPN, External & Sub Identifier) for the worker.
Can you guys please help me to understand what steps we have missed.

I have the same problem... did you find the solution?
Sometimes the following helps:
1) clear and add external identity again OR
2) run 1060 job OR
3) restart Retail server OR
3) wait for 3-5 minutes - something inside D365 becomes refreshed during this time interval
Follow below steps to sort of the issue.
Step 1: Ensure User ID(System Administration-->Users-->Users) is created eg: "firstname.lastname@example.org" for e mail id and attached "Telemetry ID" (Object ID for user is available in Azure portal) and select company.
Step 2 : Associate a Worker with AAD User
Select a Worker and in the Pane "Workers" select a Tab "Retail
Click on Associate existing identity and enter "email@example.com" which is already created in Users.
Step 3 : Data in Alias,VPN,External Sub Identifiers gets updated in Workers form.
Step 4 : Validate the device with above worker
Step 5 : Replicate Staff Job(1060) to Cloud POS.
Step 6 : Now Cloud POS gets activated automatically.
The system takes identity provider information from Retail Shared parameters. Make sure that the Windows Azure Identity provider has your azure tenant ID. If you are using RSSU, check the web.config file has the environment ID updated.
I Have done all the steps as mentioned above but Only for one worker ,the CPOS and MPOS Device got activated but when I am activating the device by other worker which is the existing worker of the demo data contesso and mapped with the admin user account then at the time of activation of the new device of CPOS and I am getting this error.
"Could not resolve identity .The azure active Directory is not mapped with the employee account into Retail Head Quarter". Need the fix for this issue urgently.
Not able to access the device by using the CPOS link from Outside network only it is accessible by using the RDP on the same Machine by MPOS and CPOS.
Earlier CPOS link was working fine from internet also from any network but now it is not accessible.
Please suggest how to fix both the issue.
1. CPOS activation for Multiple worker for Multiple devices
2. CPOS link is not accessible from the outside/any network Currently I am able to access only from RDP machine where VPN is installed.

Try running RetailTenantUpdateTool with the credentials you will use to activate CPOS.
When am tring to run this RetailTenantUpdateTool,
The below error occurs,
Connect-MsolService : This account is blocked. Contact your Tenant administrator.

In the back office, you can add a new cash desk in the "Cash desk" section, for this click on the "Add cash desk" button.In the “Create a cash desk” form that opens, fill in the “Name” field and select from the drop-down list the institution in which the cash desk should work if you have several establishments. Do not forget to click on the “Save” button.After creating a new cash register, it is displayed in the list of all cash registers with the status “Not activated”.To activate it, you need to enter the new cashier on your mobile device with the e-mail and password of the owner of the institution. After that, the owner can switch the user account to another user.Then in the back office in the list of cash registers a new cash register will change its status to “Activated”.wish for merchants all the best.
