Does anyone have an idea why I am not able to print via POS? I am getting server error when I attempt to print whether with CPOS or MPOS. I have tried everything. It's a recently formatted computer.
We have similar setup in other stores working fine
Please have a look for details in the log, if this is MPOS with Local hardware station the logs are in Event Viewer under Microsoft->Dynamics->Commerce-ModernPOS->Operational. If this is a shared HS then the logs are in Event Viewer under Microsoft->Dynamics->Commerce-HardwareStation->Oprational.
Hi, it is not retail server error - it is printing error, so issue in POS <-> Hardware station communication. Details of error you can see
1) in browser console (F12)
2) using Fiddler
3) in Event viewer (Applications > Microsoft > Dynamics > Commerce-ModernPOS/HW station)
Also were you able to make Hardware station PING in browser without issues?
Hi Oksana, Sergey thanks for your reply.
I was able to resolve it by getting in touch with Microsoft products team. They suggested me to Create an account in my system and name it as RetailHwsUser. It should be part of the local administrator group.
Then Login as RetailHwsUser. Reinstall hardware station, restart the system and it worked
