Is it possible to send a notification through an email X days before a birthday for a customer who is enrolled to a loyalty program in d365 commerce?
The first thing is to store the customers DOB. There are standard fields available on the customer record for this, but in my opinion are not very useful, firstly because they are three separate fields for day, month, year and secondly because they can not be exposed to a Microsoft ecommerce online channel website.
For these reasons I would recommend storing the data in a Text Customer attribute [which can be exposed in the Customer profile section of the online channel website.]
To send the email you would either need to do a customisation or create something outside D365 Commerce, such as a PowerApp/Flow etc.
