We are using CRM Online which is integrated with Sharepoint. When we upload the image from CRM it saves into the Sharepoint and we are able to get the absolute sharepoint URL of the uploaded image in CRM.
We need to display the uploaded image in CRM Portals, If we refer the absolute sharepoint image url in portals, it would redirect to a login page as we need to impersonate the request.
And i don't see any possibility from client side code (portal code) to impersonate a http request with service account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You have to authenticate request to get sharepoint Image URL working . You need to send authenticated request to work sharepoint Image URL.
Thanks anupam, do we have any example..
I was wondering on where to store the credentials of the service account as we need to authenticate the request from Portal and storing the service account on client side is not a recommended.
Are you server based integration CRM and SharePoint? Please check the CRM, SP and Port credentials respectively. Inconsistent will cause the issues.
I'm also trying to achieve same. I need to display the images on the CRM Portal which are stored on Sharepoint integrated to Dynamics 365. Can you please share how did you achieve this? How did you access the sharepoint image url in client side code?
