When viewing associated activities in sub-grid (related) receiving
0x80040224 The specified domain does not exist or cannot be contacted
this works in classic D365
Is there any plug-in/custom workflow on the activities?
As far as I know, this error is usually caused by plug-ins, you could try to disable the plug-in and try again.
If the error still exits, please raise a ticket to microsoft support team to let the engineers help you solve the problem in the background.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, i removed the pre-retrieve and pre-retrievemultiple plugins and it iworked with no exceptions
The major problem is that if it works in the classic ui what would cause it not to work in the unified ui
The plugin is using a LINQ query to retrieve relative guids and then adding a query criteria notin condition to the localContext.PluginExecutionContext.InputParameters["Query"]
I have also (for testing) replaced the LINQ query with a QueryExpression but received the same error
Due to the differences between the implementation framework of the classic UI and the UCI, some code may not be suitable for the UCI now.
And there is no formal paper to account for these differences :-(
