i am surprised to see your question, Dynamics Ax professionals has a bright future and it is easy to learn compared to other ERP's like SAP. You look for the growth of Axapta and Comparison with SAP in the internet.
Thanks for ur info .To be frank i am not aware of what this Microsoft dynamics Axapta does ? R u working in this ?
Can u please let me know ?
i am happy that you want to know more about the Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics is an the brand name and there are 4 ERP solutions in the market across the globe like Axapta,Navison,GreatPlains and CRM. In these Axapta it the primary Solution abt for Mid size and bigger companies . You have the following modules in Axapta and the language used to develop is X++. it supports SQL server and Oracle databases.
and lot more. all these modules will cater to the an organization and it is upto the implementors to cusotomize the solutions and train the users.
Hope this info is userfull. feel free get back for clarrifications.
Thanks for ur info .So could u let me know how is this diff from SAP modules like HR ,FICO,SD ,BW etc .And according to ur opinion which is the best one ?
Though i have surfed i want to know ur opinion ?As i am planning to learn SAP FICO ,I dont have any domain knowledge in finance ,so canI learn it or not ?
And how are the openings in Microsoft Dynamics ? Which module is the best one in Axapta ? Lemme know pls .
I cannot compare SAP and Axapta since i have not worked with SAP. i am not aware of your academic background, so i will not be able to guide ur carrier. i can tell you that there are lot of freshers joined axapta practice and they are doing good because it is easy to learn and develop. are u looking for a technical carrier or a funcional carrier? or both?
For your last question on the openings just type Axatpa professionals in Google search and u will get ur answer.
FYI: i will not be available in this forum for next 5 days.
I have done BE ECE and have 3 yrs of exp as QA .So can i try as fresher if I do my course in Axapta ? I am looking for either technical or functional career ,the best which i can learn soon n try job.
By the by if u dont mind where do u work ?

Since you have little/no experience in any functional area it would be advisable for you to learn X++ and SQL Server. There is a great demand for experienced X++ programmers. An introduction to ERP systems is also advisable.
Best of luck.
