Using Manager Reporter for Great Plains reporting, we have built an Income Statement by Company. This report reconciles to our Trial Balance for Month-to-Date (MTD) and Year-to-Date (YTD).
Then we have created an Income Statement by Department which reconciles to our Trial Balance for MTD (reconciled for July & August) but not for YTD. The YTD differences are the same for both months.
We built a Department Rollup under the Reporting Tree Definitions section in the management reporter. We have checked that the departments in the YTD differences are in the Reporting Tree Definitions, which they are. Those departments are set-up as a dimension in the Reporting Manager. The fact that the MTD balances are reconciling but the YTD balances are not is really baffling. We cannot think of what we are missing to get the YTD to work also.
Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
