Hello All Experts,
I have four entities
i want to show the activity records in all of the above entities but scenario is as below.
whenever an activity is created for CustomEntity Record then the same should also displayed on the account as well.
since Account lookup is on CustomEntity form.
likewise account is also related to the contact.
also the same functionality should work vice versa.
i am trying to achieve by creating a custom public view as duplicated copy of associated view present on activity and adding subgid on the account form.
when i select related records it gives only related activities to that account .
when i select all record type, it shows all the records wherever the account has relationship e.g product etc.
i just want to display activity records which revolves around the above 4 entities.
any help will be appreciable.
This is not possible with out of box customization. You can create a custom html web resource where you get the activities from all these and then display it in a grid.
You can start with this basic sample on the HTML-dynamicsofdynamicscrm.com/.../quick-tip-how-to-learn-making-grid-html-web-resource-in-dynamics-crm
Hope this helps.
