I am finding I'm unable to select other Dashboards from the list of system Dashboards in the My Dashboards area. If I select any of the system dashboards it just refreshes to the same Dashboard I'm already looking at, which is the Default dashboard.
If I make one of the other dashboards the Default, that dashboard becomes the only view able dashboard, but still not able to select any other system dashboards.
The personal Dashboard I have is selectable and displays without issue.
Another issue (possibly related) is that one of the System dashboards displays different data to what the same dashboard shows when opened in the Customizations area, why would this be? I'm accessing as System Admin.
Here are my suggestions for default dashboard issue:
1. Clear your browser cache and change another browser to test if it works normally.
2. Check other team members that whether they encountered the same issue as you.
For final data difference issue:
go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System > Components > Dashboard, double click any dashboard,
then db click any chart in pop-up previewing window to watch it properties, you can confirm whether the System dashboard and your customized dashboard have same Data Source.
I've tested it in my D365 environment:
Server version: 9.1.0000.4239
Client version: 1.3.1658-190426-185014
and didn’t encounter those issues, so please provide more information. Thanks.
December 5th 2019 and I am seeing the same issue. Once you set a default dashboard, every dashboard entry in the sitemap of the app shows the default dashboard, instead of the dashboard as configured in the sitemap. If you Clear Default on the default dashboard everything works fine.
Checked in Edge, Chrome and Internet Explorer, cache cleared and everything. Checked in brand new trial environment. All users have the same issue. Weird that this isn't talked about more often. I'd expect a lot more people run into this.
I believe MS are still working on finding the issue & resolve it.
Cache cleared & works fine at my end still.
I tried this with my Dynamics 365 and it worked!
Go to your personal settings by clicking on the gear in the upper right corner of the CRM screen. Choose Options. When the Set Personal Options screen opens, the first choice is to set the default Pane and Default Tab. Set the Default Pane to Sales, and the Default Tab to Opportunities.
Can you be more specific about what error you have received?
Hope this helps you!
