Social Insight is going to be replaced by Market Insights. The doc that compares the outgoing and incoming tool says Social Selling and Social Care is not available.
Does this mean, the new tool Market Insights will not be having features that are available in Social Engagement tool.
Thanks for reaching out. D365 Market Insights is in Public Preview and therefore features and functions are subject to change. Dynamics 365 Market Insights is intended to help business professionals better understand broader patterns in what consumers say, seek, and feel. This ultimately enables them to make impactful business decisions informed by many statistically significant insights from aggregated and anonymized proprietary and public data. Therefore, social care & social selling use case is not supported in D365 Market Insights – as single post actions would be required for these use cases.
If so, is there any other way to do social selling?
From an Microsoft Social Engagement and Market Insights perspective, we will not support social selling. Please have a look at LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other LinkedIn tools which might help to cover this use case.
