Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change the first screen shown when you open the D365 App for Outlook? We've renamed the Account entity to Business but it's still showing up as Account when we open the app and I can't seem to determine which Card form is looking after this. We're also seeing a couple of permission privilege issues as well in 1 environment so would be good to know how to sort this.
I couldn't seem to find anything in the documentation that discussed this. Configuring the app is straightforward and just about everything else is sorted except this issue.
Any guidance appreciated
The landing page of App for Outlook is "App for Outlook Contact Quick View" form under Contact entity. You can customize that form.
As for permission issue - please refer to this documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../deploy-dynamics-365-app-for-outlook
Thanx for this. Don't know why I never saw this as I went through each form to determine where the permission issue would be coming from (the system doesn't use Case for example so removing the Case sub-grid from this form will alleviate the issue).
Still unclear as to why the form is displaying the Account entity as Account (even though we've renamed it Business) but I'll keep delving into this and see what I can find).
Thanx for the link. Already have this and a number of others for review but it wasn't absolutely clear in there what to do around this part (in my opinion).
