I am trying to customize the "Opportunity Lost" window. For that , I opened "Opportunity Lost" entity from customizations area and tried editing the Main form. I am successfully able to remove some fields on the form and publish it.. But unfortunately , those changes are not getting reflected in the popped up window (that you get when you click Close as lost ribbon button in the opportunity). Below I listed CRM version details.
2019 release wave 2 released
Version : 1710 (22.214.171.12427) online
Environment : POC (online)
What you need to edit is the Opportunity Close form of type Quick Create instead of the Main form.
If you have enabled ‘Customize close opportunity form’ in the system settings, then you will see the Opportunity Close form in the customizations forms.
All changes made in this form will be reflected in the pop-up window.
Please refer to this document for more details on Customize the Opportunity Close form:

Hi, I tried same.. I removed "Description" field from quick Create form. But it's not reflecting.
Does it not work in normal CRM UI ? Does it work only in Customer Service Hub ?
The capability to customize the Opportunity Close form is supported only in the sales app built on the Unified Interface.
After adding or removing any fields, as required on the Opportunity Close form, open the Information form of type Main, and make the same changes that you did in Opportunity Close form.
The sales representatives or managers have a way to open the Opportunity Close record after an opportunity is closed, which uses the Information form. For these newly added or removed fields to reflect on the Information form, the changes must be made to the Information form, too.
