I'm adding a subgrid to a custom entity.
It needs to be accessed from the Account and Quote entities.
If I add a record from the Quote subgrid I can't get the Account lookup field filled nor can I get the Quote lookup field filled if I add it from the Account subgrid.

When you add a record from quote grid - you can use mapping to populate account - docs.microsoft.com/.../map-entity-fields
But for the same account you can have multiple quotes - how do you plan to define which to use to fill the quote lookup?
When you create a lookup field it creates the mapping automatically. It would be better to check the mapping fist on the relationship.
