I want to track, into CRM, emails only from a certain folder and not for all my incoming emails. I have set up folder level integration and its works fine. The problem is that not only the emails from my folder are traked but all emails.
There is a way to resolve my problem?
First, D365 itself selects the email messages to track in Microsoft Dynamics 365, which will take effect even if folder-level tracking is not enabled.
We can select which emails to track in the personal options, or turn off this feature (select no emails to track).
If you would like to stop tracking emails other than folder-level tracking, then you need to select it as No email messages.
Hi @Lu Hao i forgot to write that i use d365 on premise. There is no an option "No email messages" (
So I would recommend you select it as Email messages in response to email.
Email messages in response to email: Only replies to email messages that have already been tracked will be saved as email activities. This option uses smart matching, a correlation method that uses the existing properties contained in the email to relate email messages to activities.
Lu Hao, thank you!
