I am trying to import the latest version of our customizations into our sandbox environment in Dynamics Online. I export the solution, get a zip file, try to import it - and after selecting the .zip file get an error message stating "Please select a ZIP file" although I have the just-exported zip file in the "Browse"-field. No additional information is given.
Same thing on both Chrome and Edge. Both solutions I try to import export OK, are unmanaged and unchanged after exporting.

Got it. I haven't renamed the file during saving, and used the suggested name, but at some point something had inserted a ' -character on both sides of the filename, consequently making the filetype .zip' -file.

Sort of. The zips were not blocked, but somehow during saving their raw filenames had acquired 's around them, which of course changed the file type as well. Thank you anyway, you prompted me to look at the files rather than Dynamics for a solution.
