I want to create case in CRM usign Contact credential in console app
please share some ideas/blogs or steps on how to achieve it.
1.You should connect to Dynamics 365 first in console app.
2.You should use organization service to create case.
Hope it helps.
In My requirement I want to create the case on behalf of Customer using app.
Thanks for your information.
Since you already have the contact login credential to connect to D365, you could create case directly in console app.
But as you know, contact has a required field named "owner", If you use the contact credential to connect to D365, the owner field will be set as this contact (user) automatically. So I recommend you to consider the following 2 ways.
1.Create a new custom field to show the source of cases and set the 3rd party application as its value.
2.Go to Office 365 admin center to create a new user named with the 3rd party application name and use this user credential to connect to D365 in console app.
