Hello, we still have a customer with an old XAL running on a SQL-DB. It will not be possible to buy any licence for XAL from next year on (2012). Does anybody know, if we run in a problem, when XAL exceeds the licenced DB-Size. I remember, that it was a problem years ago. But I don't know, if it is still like that (Kernel 3.8, Appl-Version 2.6). Thanks, Guido
It definitely will be.
XAL will run extremely slowly if you get beyond the licensed database size, so you only have few days left to prepare for this situation.
After January 1st. 2012 no new license codes for XAL will be generated.
Please see posting "Last minute information regarding Microsoft XAL " from Ole Kyhl Jensen.
