I have created a project methodology for deploying Dynamics 365 on premise, and I have reached the stage of deploying a demo. I downloaded the file "localagent" under setup host environment, then I clicked on the next stage which is configure agent , and I have no idea what to do next!
Do you really want to deploy a real on premises environment for demo purposes? Setting up the required Service Fabric cluster is a demanding task and requires skilled IT people.
Usually people use the onebox environments for demo purposes - hosted either locally or in Azure. The local VHD can be downloaded from the Shared asset library and the Azure VM can be deployed from the Cloud hosted environments page.
However if you need to deploy on premises environments, this is a good starting point: docs.microsoft.com/.../on-premises-deployment-landing-page
Is the onebox free to setup or require credit card subscription?
If you download the VHD and run it locally it's free. If you want toto deploy to Azure, you need a credit card.
