We have a scenario where resource will be available in different location on the same day. We would like filter or see that resource in schedule board based on that location. Based on working hour’s slots, we would like to capture the location. Example a resource at 8 to 9 am will be at one location and 10 to 11 will be different location. Please advice.
I'm not sure I'm understanding your question or requirement. Are you saying you want to filter the schedule board based on location - like city/state, or do you just want to see additional details on the booking record on the schedule board?
All I can think of is creating new territories against a bookable resource.
Example 'New York 7 - 11 am'. (This signify all bookable resources who work in New York but only between 7 and 11am) and if you expect a bookable resource to be in Orlando between 1 - 5pm then you can create another territory and assign it to a resource.
You can then search bookable resources who have these territories and could future book them if a resource is expected to be in the area at a certain time.
This solution might not be suitable if resources change there working locations a lot and if there are lots of variations in territories and times.
Hello Scott, my requirement is For example a bookable resource is a doctor and he is available in clinic location new york at time 8 to 9 AM and he is available in New Jersey clinic location from 2 to 3 PM on the same day. This time and location has to be pre-set and his name shoud appear in schedule board based on the filters of location and time. So that patients can book a session with him based on the time and clinic location he is available.
What about 1) creating a dummy booking of 1 minute with the clinic location or 2) using a custom entity for that? Schedule Assistant (and RSO) would then consider this resource as a candidate for nearby patients. It would even make sure the doctor can travel home from that location during work hours. Create another dummy booking at the end of the working day in the same location to avoid travel home considerations.
