We want to restrict Non admin user to access or view the settings of Schedule Board.
Is there any way to achieve this ?
Can we hide the scheduler setting button from Schedule board?
Please refer image for more information.
It may be worth looking into the Schedule Board Settings permissions.
When you access the schedule board tab settings, you'll see the following:
Name: This is the name displayed at the top of the schedule board.
Shared With: Decides which users can view the schedule board tab
Specific People: after choosing this option, you can select the specific people to share the schedule board with by doing an advanced find of the Schedule Board Settings entity and sharing the related schedule board record with the specific users.
Users with Field Service - Administrator, Field Service - Dispatcher, and Field Service - Resource security roles can edit schedule board tab settings of schedule boards they create or are shared with them (meaning the Shared With field = Everyone or Specific People AND the schedule board is shared with their user record).
No, this Button cannot be hidden but I recommend you that review the new schedule board on the release wave 1 2020 just in case Microsoft include this posibility
