In a previous blog post I discussed the availability of Azure ExpressRoute to support Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations deployments on Microsoft Azure. We are happy to announce that we have removed all exceptions and streamlined the process to set up and configure ExpressRoute for Dynamics 365.

For customers that want to deploy Dynamics 365 for Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Server Automation and/or Operations with support for ExpressRoute, you have the following deployment options:

  • If you are part of the FastTrack for Dynamics 365 program, you can work with your FastTrack representative and they will help enable the support.
  • If you are not using FastTrack you can just open a regular support ticket through the MOP portal to request the support for Dynamics 365 for Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation. For Dynamics 365 for Operations you can file a support ticket through Lifecycle Services.

Once configured, in addition to connecting to Dynamics 365, customers can connect to a variety of applications such as Office 365 as well as supported Azure services including virtual machines and cloud services deployed in virtual networks, Azure Websites, Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, Visual Studio Team Services, the IoT Hub, and the Cortana Intelligence Suite.
