This has been a feature that many early CTP adopters have been waiting for. As of the upcoming release RTW of the new Dynamics AX, scheduled later this month, you can now provision more than one developer account on a development VM. Though not concurrently, more than one user account will be able to develop Dynamics AX on the same VM.

The article refers to a PowerShell script named ProvisionAxDeveloper.ps1, the script is available @ https://github.com/Microsoft/Dynamics-AX-Scripts.
We experienced IDs conflict when trying to do multidev access in CTP6. When two developers create models, they get the same IDs and that made VS crazy.
