I need to put the right cost to the right category. So I was thinking to write the IF THEN statement to pull certain expense and put it in a certain expense category. For example, if the transaction is posted to the commission account 6611 and to the financial dimension 311000, then put it in the SG&A line. How do I do that in MR? Thanks so much!
The linkage between the account category and the ledger account is actually made in the COA in D365FO.
Why don't you make the association there? Then you do not need the complex if then else formula in the financial report designer.
