My company is a DynGP partner and are considering our options around Dyn365. A question I have for the group is, for a straight forward and uncomplicated project to implement core financials (GL, AP, BR, FA) for a customer, what would be the level of effort of professional services needed, in weeks. Any thoughts or responses are appreciated.
A title Dyn365 Operations for your question is a bit too general. Can you change this to a more meaningful subject?
Is your question related to educating internal staff or the effort needed for an implementation? Please elaborate.
Like André said. What is your scope?
I would suppose you would need 3-4 days for a Conference room pilot and a similar number of days for training, but what are you suppose to use the system for? I'm not familiar with the abbreviations BR and FA, but if you're a consultancy company I would implement project management and time registration as a minimum, then maybe put in HR and payroll. You can then add 5 days CRP and 2 days training. Do you have multiple companies? Need cross company resource planning? 2 days + 1 training.
Then you would need some go live support and help with the first month end...
If you're a partner you would be able to learn a lot from the Learning portal on partner source.
I think you're looking at 2-5 weeks + 3 days startup. Most likely you'll need some additional training and questions, so let's say 6 weeks.
