I've downloaded the Dynamics-AX-Integration-master code examples from GitHub and got the services examples to work just fine against an Azure hosted D365forOperations machine.
However, I've not been able to use the examples in my dev box VM in spite of numerous tries.
The best I got when using the supplied username/password/tenant etc. info on the sample code files was an error stating something along the lines "
AADSTS70002: Error validating credentials. AADSTS50053: You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect user ID or password". If I use my AzureAD authenticated user account which I used to provision the VM, I get an error of "Unknown user type".
As said I have provisioned the VM so that I can access the local D365fO site just fine.
Which user/password/tenant/uri/appid should I use in order to access the dex box services locally from a .Net service test client?
Did you use the Admin provisioning tool which can be found on the desktop of the VM? Here you can change the admin user ID to your own tenant login credentials.
like I said I provisioned my own AAD user account and can access the local environment just fine. The authentication part from a 3rd party .Net client is the one that puzzles me.
Thanks for the confirmation. It was not fully clear you did use this tool already. Note that the local VM is not a real Azure compliant machine. Also e.g. the import users from AAD is not working. So probably there are limitations for this part.
