I cannot see any data in the UtilidElements table. Even when I do "select * from UtilidElements" on my DB, it is returning nothing.
This "table" which was actually a view on the model database is not in use anymore. The development application objects are now on a file storage; not in the database anymore.
Thanks Andre for your response.
So if I have to show all the tables (not kernel or system level), what ways do I have to show them.
What would be the reason to show all tables? You can have a look at the default application. E.g. database log or cross company data sharing is having an example how to retrieve tables.
In AX2012, we were displaying list of all tables for some functionality. I want to display all tables similarly in D365FO.
I am not able to understand what you mean by cross company or other. Please explain.
"Cross company data sharing" is a new feature replacing virtual companies. You can have a look at the next page for more help: ax.help.dynamics.com/.../cross-company-data-sharing
This feature has the logic to display the list of tables. But there are more features looping all tables for a certain purpose. E.g. the report "Company size" also loops all tables. This report is not implemented in the menu, but can still be run. (kaya-consulting.com/help-where-is-the-size-of-company-accounts-report-in-ax7)
So there are still some examples how to accomplish your requirement.
Hello, You can use TABLEIDTABLE for table list and TABLEFIELDIDTABLE for field list, relations are obvious.
You can review this link - ajit-newdynamicsax.blogspot.com/.../metadata-lookup-list-of-forms-in-d365.html
For tables you can use tableNames instead of formNames.
The table SysMetaTableNameLookup should offer what you are looking for.
