I am trying to upload the default order settings via the default “out-of-the-box “ entity called à Default order settings.
The Invent site for purchase, the Invent site for Inventory and the Invent site Sales are all available in the default entity
How to import the mandatory warehouse via this entity?
I know there was an issue for this in version ax2012rtm…ax2012r3 but solved in 2014/2015 and solved via a hotfix
Could you check if there is an hotfix available for this version regarding this importing Default order settings?
Thanks in advanced
Did you try to use the entity Site specific order settings?
yes, you are right.... When entering new Default order settings and enter the Site... the default entity "Site specific order settings" provides the requested warehouse fields. thanks !
Appreciate it has been a while since you posted this but I have also needed to look at this data entity in the last few months and I also could not work out why procurement warehouse (or sales and inventory warehouse for that matter) were not present on the default order settings data entity.
Whilst using site specific order settings does *kind of* do what you're trying to achieve it isn't elegant as you can clearly see the Level 0 default order settings record has a blank warehouse on it.
The solution is to remap the fields in the data entity which brings through a number of new fields including the relevant warehouse fields mentioned above.
Much easier than using 2 data entities when all you are trying to achieve is specifying default site/warehouse and maybe some order quantities.
