When deploying the single-box cloud-hosted environment using the LCS, there is possible to select only the virtual network in the LCS.
Is there a way to choose the Resource Group for the single-box cloud-hosted D365FO environment either during the initial deployment or successfully modify it later in the Azure Portal or the LCS, or somewhere else?
Many thanks, in advance, for your help!
Hello Marina, do you have a solution for this problem?
I also looking for a possibility to manage a LCS project with multiple DEV environments + Build ... in one Azure resource group. Thank you for your answer.
Best regards, Philipp
Hi Marina, Philipp,
During the deployment it is not possible to choose the resource group. Possibly, you can adjust it afterwards in the Azure portal, but I'm not sure if it will work and/or break other things. E.g. you have to test what happens if you want to delete an environment from LCS.
Hi Andre, thank you for your quick answer.
I already tried it afterwards to change the resource group for an environment in the Azure Portal. But it's not not a good idea, because in LCS there is a reference to the resource group and so you cannot controll the server from LCS anymore *smile*. It's pity that there is no parameter for the resource group, when you deploy it from LCS.
Thanks, best regards, Philipp
