I am getting the error "State or province is required." on the Load planning workbench when I attempt to Release > Validate load. When I check the Release errors I see there is an error "Address is invalid".
I am working on an example using Transportation Management in the Country Malta. I have checked both my Warehouse and Customer addresses using Bing Maps and both could be located. I used the same addresses for my Hub Master and it is also the same addresses used in the Rate Route workbench.
Does Transport management only work with specific countries or is there somewhere else I need to also define the Country/Region?
There are settings in the TMS setup where you can define which fields of an address will be used for rating and routing. You are currently using a demo company which is setup to use states.
There is an implementation guide available. I thought on partnersource and customersource which could be helpful.
Hi André, thank you so much. That resolved the issue.
On the Address setup form (Organization administration > Global address book > Addresses > Address setup) for the Country/Region MLT, I simply changed the Address format from one that uses State to one that doesn't.
