Hello everyone, I've been trying to connect to an FTP server, using X ++ Code from Visual Studio in an Azure development environment for D365.the version is:Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition (7.3)Compilation of installed platformUpdate12Platform compilation version7.0.4709.41129and it throws me the following error.
I have managed to connect through the browser and the Azure windows browser but not through the code.
I think that outbound connections from D365 are required to use TLS/SSL and require TLS 1.2 or greater. It could also be that FTP ports are blocked on the Azure network security group rules for this VM. If this is a VM hosted within your Azure subscription, you should be able to check.
Excellent, how can I verify if the port is blocked in my azure.
Are you sure that you have correct user name and password and did not forget to escape slash in the user name, like discussed here using ftpwebrequest with an error the remote server returned error 530 not logg
Thanks very useful, it helped me a lot, that was the problem. thanks Ivan
