Can you please tell me if you saw this dimension set in the below pic. before and if it's a standard functionality or customization?
It is standard feature.
Please have a look at this post about the use of dimension set: technologyblog.rsmus.com/.../using-financial-dimensions-financial-report-designer
Thanks for replaying so soon....
One thing i don't understand, How this dimension set option will show on the report definition with the drop down menu?
It is the group of the dimension and you can use it when you have the option to filter the dimension.
Please see more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPV4W1tvEbk&list=PLBE027591B1C070D6&index=1&feature=plpp_video
This dimension set option, is it available only in D365 not AX2012 ?
Because I have AX2012 and I can’t get this option!
Do you check my pictures and second link? The operation is very clear.
Which specific version do you use?
Yes I did, the link is showing how to create a user !!
The problem here is that I don’t have this option in my AX2012 Management Reporter, how can I add it? Is it new release or it has some certain settings to show?
As you can see, the option is not there ???
Indeed, there is no this option in AX version. But you can use this feature by another way, open a row/column definition, click edit tab and select manage dimension sets.
Thanks so much Mattguo
Just one more question, in which version of Management Reporter is this feature available?
I checked AX R3CU13 and didnot have this option. It only exists in D365FO.
